5 THINGS TO DO WHILE SOCIAL DISTANCING
As COVID-19 social distancing and self-quarantine continue, it is important to connect with our friends and family during this stressful time.
With more and more people working from home, schooling from home and practicing social distancing it leaves some question of: What can I do from home? There’s a need for us to get creative in order to have fun and also be productive.
With this in mind, we have pulled together some of the most positive, creative, helpful, interesting and entertaining activities to keep you going over the coming weeks.
1. Take an online class
Doing this will really boost your skills and get you ahead. You can take a class on language, whether your first language is Spanish, French or German there is never a bad time to pick up a new language to learn ! Try something new and expand your horizons, it could be dancing class, a pottery class or a cooking class. It’s a win-win scenario for all.
2. Spend time with the Family
People remember the good times spent with each other more than the places they’ve been. Get out a deck of cards or a board game. Spend time talking, laughing, and reminiscing. Life is short- spend time with family.
3. Have a spa day
Turn your bathroom into a luxurious spa with the help of bubble bath, bath oils, homemade facial treatments and a soothing eye pillow. A relaxing soundtrack will add spice to this and let the worries of everyday life fall away most especially as COVID-19 outbreak continues.
4. Creativity in the kitchen
Food doesn’t have to be boring. Even if you’re on a budget, you still have plenty of options to mix up your plate and get creative in the kitchen. Grab that mixer and take your mind into the kitchen to bake up some delicious cookies, cupcakes and more!
5. Regular indoor exercise
Aerobic exercise is key for your head, just as it is for your heart. Conversely, relaxing your body physically can help relieve psychologically. But as you get into shape, you’ll begin to tolerate exercise, then enjoy it, and finally depend on it. Try yoga, spinning, etc. Also, don’t forget to catch up on sleep with the recommended hours by Doctors.
Finally, be positive minded as this will surely pass.
